“diGIT” project is dedicated to contemporary music  and for expending and experimenting with the formation of a guitar quartet and additional instruments. The instrumentations (classical guitars, electric guitars, electric bass), sound possibilities and new artistic collaborations are the foundations of this pioneer project.  

Launched in 2019, the 1st diGIT edition took place during WERFT festival in Cologne with the commission of five new pieces by prominent young composers of the local contemporary scene.

Among the commissioned composers are Dariya Maminova (Russia), Lucia Kilger (Germany), Vincent Michalke (Germany), Ptolemaios Armaos (Greece), Francisco C. Goldschmidt (Chile), Sergej Maingardt (Germay), Tom Belkind (Israel), Yair Klartag (Israel), Jonah Haven (USA), Alex Held (Germany).
