Cologne Guitar Quartet (CGQ) – Open Call for Manager / Agency
International innovative guitar ensemble for crossover music

The Cologne Guitar Quartet, founded in 2014, is an internationally active ensemble performing contemporary, experimental, world, and electronic music. The quartet has premiered numerous works, released acclaimed albums, and appeared at major festivals across Europe.

In 2025, the ensemble was awarded for the 2nd time a 3-year scholarship from the State of North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW) for 2026–2028, supporting touring, commissioning, and project development.

Artistic Programs
 

Fusion Project – A unique crossover program blending musical styles that derive from the members’ cultural traditions and influences. Utilizing electronic instruments, classical guitar, Cavaquinho, Portuguese guitar, electric guitar, E-bass, acoustic guitar, Greek Bouzouki, and vocals.
 

DIGIT Project – Multimedia contemporary program combining electric guitars, electronics, spatial sound, and visual components for interdisciplinary venues and new music festivals.
 

Classical Program – Curated chamber music and contemporary repertoire for guitar ensemble, ideal for traditional concert series and classical festivals.

SoundLinks Festival – Crossover Music Festival
 

Founded by the Cologne Guitar Quartet, the biannual SoundLinks Festival in Cologne unites diverse musical genres into a vibrant program of concerts and collaborations. The next edition takes place in October 2026. The festival is a platform for artistic exchange, experimental music, and audience development, expanding the ensemble’s international visibility.

• Managing social media and web presence using existing materials
• Promoting the SoundLinks Festival
• Audience development and strategic communication
